Well that was a nice surprise Thomas! As soon as the door was opened, the first bike on the left appeared to be a Suzuki 50. The significance of this is highly personal. This was my first motorcycle in 1964, bought by my grandparents for passing all my national school exams. The rest, as they say, is history!
Geoff,
To put it mildly, I'm sort of jealous. Not so much of the Suzuki 50, but of the fact that you remember that bike so well. My brother and I gathered rat bikes like normal people bought groceries for our first few years and, other than than godawful Harley Sprint, I can't remember squat about any of them. This summer he stayed with us for a couple of weeks and we tried to remember what bikes we had and when and failed miserably. So, we drank more beer and forgot even more.
