Black Magic or Just British Underengineering?

The Vincent nonsense never ends, does it? The kind of money involved in this motorcycle's existence and sale at auction makes me want to puke. $929,000 for an obsolete motorcycle that handles like a brick, is almost as fast as a modern 400cc sport bike, and can only be repaired by a machinist who can make parts from scratch? When motorcycling becomes the playpen of the idle 1% you know it's on the way out of mainstream.

Disagree? Bring it on. Have more to add? Feel free to set me straight.(Spam goes straight to trash and is never read.) Unfortunately, Blogger doesn't do a great job of figuring out which Anonymous commenters are actually real people, not Russians or Chinese spammers, so most Anonymous stuff ends up in the Spam filter and I usually delete it without looking to see if there are any real people who are afraid of using their own ID.
