I check the comments on this blog regularly. The idea is that we're going to have a conversation about the ideas I've presented. You should be aware of the fact that when someone emails me an interesting comment, the odds are good that I'll post that in the comments anonymously and reply to that comment on the blog rather than in email.

It is great to see the beauty and the simplicity. Now things are hyped up. I like the big wheels.
There is something cool about equipment this primitive. Roads were mostly terrible, the machines were unreliable and dangerous, but some people made their own spares in their garages and we were learning how to build stuff.
Wow, those guys were doing 90 mph on dirt with hard-tails and springer forks. Plenty of dust and no helmets. Spectators right on the track. And over 200 miles!
