I thi...Great to see another of your posts, Thomas! I think most "proper" motorcyclists are happy with their own thoughts and company by definition. I enjoy decent conversation but equally happy on my own.<br /><br />My riding gear doesn't really carry memories though. I've owned a set of full leathers since 2003, they're in good condition and best of all they still fit. That's the happiest aspect of long term ownership but I'm starting to feel like a Power Ranger in them at 73 years of age.<br /><br />I'm starting to think that another couple of years will see the end of motorcycling and I'm becoming increasingly comfortable with that. An e-bike to replace the 30 year old mountain bike, maybe a Lotus 7 clone and our small runabout for sea fishing will provide enough of a fallback not to miss motorcycles too much.
