A Funny Documentary

Some of this is blatantly schmaltzy. Some is slow. Much of it, I suspect, is right. Harley the corporate welfare queen may be one of the big losers from the pandemic and Trump’s Recession. It is really hard to feel sorry for them.

  1. I paid that tax (tariff) that the Reagan administration put on bikes over 700 CC. I wasn't happy about it at the time; however, in hindsight, I'm disappointed that H-D didn't use that money to expand their market and set the company up for future viability.

    1. I can see that. I think my response was a lifetime of under 700cc motorcycles in protest. Hardly's response to everything has been below the belt, including rewriting their WWII history. I would never expect a company that lazy with customers that simple-minded to do any sort of "right thing." The biggest bike I've ever owned was a Yamaha 850 TDM and that was always more bike than I ever needed.
