The “lead” motorcyclist has no more business on a vehicle with a motor than does a squirrel. Neither of these two squids are half the rider the bicyclist is. None of that is surprising, though. Spend a Saturday in Red Wing and you’ll see why motorcycle fatalities are grossly out of porportion to the number of motorcycles on the road. It’s an embarrassment.

- Mark Twain I check the comments on this blog regularly. The idea is that we're going to have a conversation about the ideas I've presented. You should be aware of the fact that when someone emails me an interesting comment, the odds are good that I'll post that in the comments anonymously and reply to that comment on the blog rather than in email.

Disagree? Bring it on. Have more to add? Feel free to set me straight. Unfortunately, Blogger doesn't do a great job of figuring out which Anonymous commenters are actually real people, not Russians or Chinese bots. Because of that, I don't accept anonymous posts. If you have something worth saying, you shouldn't be afraid of using your ID.
A lot of times I read your blog and figure you're just a grumpy old geezer but this time I have to agree with you 100%.
ReplyDeleteThat is pure gold! If those "bikers" don't get the take away message from that encounter there is no hope for them.
ReplyDeleteScott, you're wrong. I am ALWAYS a "grumpy old geezer."
ReplyDeleteWatch some of the vids that automatically follow this one. While the further 'adventures' of the two in this vid prove that they are morons and completely incapable of riding a bike, there is also a vid of a wannabe dead person trying to filter between traffic at very high speed. The result is predictable.
