Both together would have, but I almost always go for the short choice whenever possible. My inclination to political correctness died when I quit work. It's only going to get worse from here. You might have noticed that I actually put my name on my words. I put about 2% of the weight on "anonymous" comments as I do actual people with convictions. I have a lot of respect for people who proudly admit who they are and not that much for closeted anythings. For what it's worth, whoever I am is pretty much on the pages of this blog. If you're expecting a seventy-year-old hick from western Kansas to suddenly stop laughing at pomp and circumstance of any sort, plan on disappointment. I am particularly amused by pomp. Your mileage may (by that I mean you have more than my permission) vary.

It's a terrible thing to admit on this space, but after 15 years of trying for an engineering degree at nights I gave up on that dream in California and ended up with an English Creative Writing/Technical Writing bachelors. That only added to my dislike for people who pretend they get to completely misappropriate words like "liberal," "conservative," and "gay" and many more for their personal and/or political purposes. Those words have been around a long time and will probably grow other meanings in the future. I will probably stick with the more established meanings for however many weeks I have left on the earth. Some of us "girlymen" ride and also know the difference between a protective helmet and a fashion piece. Although the sentiment that this sort of thing is not a helmet is appreciated, your words aren't.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
